Swampass this is Mans answer to that monthly drip you women get. I am thoroughly convinced on this. In case your wondering what SWAMPASS is…well its special feeling you get when you have hemorrhoids and anal leakage at the same time. So not only do you get the burning ass sensation that makes it VERY difficult to walk but you also get the mudbutt to go along with it. That is called swampass. So you are caught in this everlasting circle of wiping every few minutes feeling like a squat-to-pee, then because you just wiped to clean yourself you just aggravated the hemorrhoids which in essence is what caused the whole thing in the first place.
And before I get scores of women writing and saying that I cannot compare swampass to the monthly drip and that the monthly drip is much worse. Let me say “OH YES I CAN!!!!” You get to deal with that once a month. I deal with this almost daily. And to answer the cramps thing. Okay try walking when you feel like you got a red hot poker up your ass. And yes I deal with the blood. But I get muddy blood. Which also burns!!! And even when it isn’t as sever as mine it IS still something a guy gets at least once month. Ask just about any guy and he will tell you.
Why oh why is this something that the elders don’t tell you about as you get older? I think its their cruel joke. The elders nudge themselves and go “Hey he’s turning 30…Swampass is about to hit” Whats next….? I don’t think I want anymore surprises.
Christmas is done and it was a good. The highlight was tonight when our friends all came over and we had a Christmas dinner and small gift exchange. Followed by some Wii play. It really reminded me of Christmas back in Atlanta. With just good friends and family having fun and enjoying being with each other. There was talk about possibly renting my brother in laws vacation home next Christmas in golf shores. I think that would be awesome. Hopefully we can make it happen. Fist I have to find a new job. Hopefully I will.
The only time I really didn’t enjoy that much was Christmas at my mothers. Maybe I read to much into it. But it just helped reaffirm that the reason that my mother has suddenly decided to come into my life is because of my wife. I don’t know…I haven’t spoken to much about my mother on this blog because I am not sure what to think or even how to handle the situation. Sometime I will, I promise but right now I just don’t feel like it.
Tonight topped the holiday off perfectly for me and I hope this becomes a tradition. As I enjoyed it very much and Christmas felt like Christmas finally.

Well another cold snap out there. This weekend on top of the ice that we got last weekend that still hadn’t fully melted away yet we got another 4-6 inches of snow! I shoveled the driveway and sidewalk yesterday, but I don’t think I did anything. At least that is what it looks like anyway.
So what I have been up to? Aside for working a job that I absolutely loath…not a whole lot. Its banana bread time again. So far this weekend I have made 4 loaves. I have enough to make 4 more and I am sure I need to make at least twice as many, but I don’t know if I will have time. We will see. There are a few people out there that are already asking where their loaves are and when they will get them. LOL I love it though, reminds of when my grandmother made them. She started getting “inquiries” around Halloween time. However she only made one kind, which to me is still the best just normal old plain banana bread. I have come up with a couple variations on the same recipe. First you have trusty old plain no additives like nuts or anything but you know it makes you smile anyway. You can always depend on plain. Second you have plain but on top I crush pecans and almonds. MMMM Very tasty. Thirdly you have Chocolate chip. HMMMMMMM over thanksgiving I think I gave my sister-in-laws their own little orgasisms with this little gem. And finally chocolate chip with crushed nuts on top….PERFECT! A little bit of heaven in every bite.
Next year I am considering what could end up being the Mother of them all. Thats right folks a Chocolate Chip…with a Cream Cheese Strousel top then Dusted with a fine Crushed Pecan/Almond powder. It will be masterpiece! HMMMM Chocolaty cheese goodness…………………………………………..daydreaming.
Other than that I have been playing WOW. I have decided to put my 35 Druid on the back burner for a while and concentrate on leveling my 31 Hunter. I think I am going to make him my main. I like my Druid, but he just is not a very Soloable ‘toon. So to complete quests with out grouping with him is just a nightmare and I am actually sort of a loner as far as that goes. Really just because other people piss me off. I rather do things on my own then have to depend on them or rather watch what they are doing.

If you like Dave Mathews Band or music similar might I say this Album is a MUST have for your collection. WOW the audio quality is just fantastic. I picked up the Blu-Ray and I think I will pick up the CD version of this disk also just have loaded in the HDD. What makes this album for me is its pretty much just Dave and Tim Reynolds playing their guitars and singing. The banter in between song sets is interesting and great. Although I have to wonder if he was stoned during this gig. Because his mannerisms and speech patterns don’t jive with other times I have seen or heard him speak. But never the less it is a wonderful album.
Tim Reynolds playing is beautiful and amazing. I must hear more of his playing and will be searching out more albums featuring him. Best I can relate him too would be a blues oriented Santana or Satriani. This guy is wondrous in his playing and just captures you.
Okay so I finally have the BD/HD-DVD drive for my HTPC!! Aaaannd I freakin love it!! I have been watching Blu-Ray all weekend. And yes Kody I am sorry I did buy 1 HD just to make sure it worked and it did.
So what have I learned from this whole HTPC deal? Well for a lot of money you can build a Jukebox/Hi Def DVD player/Gamer/and just a cool machine. What does this do for you? Well…for one its cool to be able to sit in your easy chair stare at big screen as you compute. Second cost effectiveness…? HMMMM Not sure yet. I would say pretty much a wash. If you were to buy a 500 to 1000 disc player for your CD Collection, a BD/HD-DVD player I would say your looking at today’s pricing at about 12-1500 dollers. The HTPC was easily almost twice that, but…I can do more than just play cd’s and watch Movies. For instance I can create playlists for my music listening pleasure and play those instead of having to run back to change CD’s or hit forward to get to the next song. I can surf the internet on my TV cant say enough about that cool factor. Let alone being able to play my favorite PC games from my recliner. As I start the automation of my home next year I will be able to tie everything into my PC and control my house completely from my recliner. (Insert more cool factor here please) Also I can load my entire SD DVD collection into the HDD’s if I wanted and have my movies at my finger tips with out having to look for them then load them, then put them back. I can just play them. On that note however, actually playing a DVD is a bit more combersome than having a Stand alone unit.
So would I do this agian? HMMMM YES!! I gotta say it a great project I believe the HTPC is going to become a MUST in the Home Theater enviroment for all serious Theater enthusiests. I am sorry I didn’t write a step by step on here so if anybody has any questions feel free to email me or comment and I will answer the best I can.
As I continue with my HTPC I will update once in a while. I am not completly done with it yet. As there are a few kinks I have to work out. And my Home Theater is a ever changing project for me. My next project for my HT is to finally get the rest of my components hooked up and running. I have a HDMI switcher I need to place as well as an Amplifier and a Center channel. My dilemma is I am out of room in my ET center so I think I need to custom build one. I am working on designs now for it, and will look at building myself or having it done. For now I may take an easy route and just make a shelf to put my TV on and place the Amp and center channel under the TV effectively raising the TV about 10 inches.

And I have been noticing it more and more lately. I don’t know if I have always done it and I have just started to notice or if there is something actually wrong with me. Let me see if I can explain it because I really don’t even know how to explain it.
I black out when people talk to me. I don’t fall over or anything. Like I am awake and alert but all of a sudden I stop comprehending what people are saying to me for a very short while. Then it all clicks back in a few minutes later. And I know what you are thinking maybe its just certain people but no its EVERYBODY!! I was talking to my boss on the phone today and he asked if I was okay. Because I didn’t reply to him, but I knew what he asked. It was like I was just dazed for a bit. Almost like somebody put my brain on pause for a few seconds. Then pressed play again. This happens all the time!! I don’t know what to do about it.
For some reason Zombie’s have become a rather large talking subject. I think because some of our friends are absolutely enthralled by them. And yes they have actually come up with a Zombie survival plan. I agree this probably should be included in every family emergency reaction booklet. So I on my buddy’s blog I saw a Zombie test. So I stole it from him and put on mine you will see it to the right in the column there.
